We're looking for a dedicated Buyer & Planner to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our materials flow smoothly and efficiently. Your Role:
Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring materials are available when needed while meeting cost and delivery targets.
Supplier Selection: Choose and build strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers based on product quality and reliability.
Contract Negotiation: Handle contract negotiations covering costs, warranties, delivery terms, and penalties for delays or cost overruns.
Purchasing Cycle: Manage the purchasing cycle from Purchase Order creation through to consumption, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance using key metrics, providing feedback, and maintaining clear communication channels.
ERP Implementation: Work on the implementation and optimization of our Enterprise Requirements Planning System.
Innovation: Challenge existing processes and drive improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in your role.
Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as needed to support the team and our operations.
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution.
Experience: 3-7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Demand Planning, with a proven track record in managing remote suppliers and manufacturers.
Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and forecasting tools to develop actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Inventory Management: Proven expertise in inventory management and a solid understanding of operational and forecasting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Education: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA.
Certifications: Certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management.
Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Business Central and its functionalities.
