Compensation Range: $55 - 62 per hour

Cella is looking for a skilled and motivated Digital Tag Manager (Ad Operations) to join our client's team for a hybrid contract opportunity in Chicago, IL!

As a Senior Associate in Digital Tag Management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Owned and Paid Media by executing, implementing, and providing consultation on tagging of pages tied to digital marketing campaigns. This position involves working in a highly collaborative environment with various stakeholders across business units and technical teams. The role requires expertise in both on-site tagging and a deep understanding of the paid media reporting and measurement landscape, with a focus on innovation, accuracy, and adherence to data privacy regulations.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years experience specifically in tagging and trafficking paid media and digital advertising operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert and partner with Paid Media stakeholders to provide consultation and thought leadership on tagging strategies for search, social, mobile, display, and video campaigns.
• Ensure the placement and management of digital media tags within Tag Management platforms to support campaign performance, targeting, and monitoring across various platforms (including proprietary tools, DoubleClick Campaign Suite, Adobe Insight/Site Catalyst).
• Maintain governance and ensure adherence to best practices for tagging and media/ad operations procedures, while identifying and implementing innovative tagging strategies.
• Perform quality control checks and document setups for campaign executions to ensure best-in-class performance.
• Collaborate with business partners and technology teams to ensure that tagged data is transformed into valuable, analytically accessible datasets for business intelligence and decision-making.
• Review and validate project documentation, including specifications, user guides, help files, and procedures, to ensure the quality of tagging and data deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with data collection, tag deployment, and user privacy regulations while providing SME inputs for the evolution of digital tag management technology.
• Provide scale to tagging management procedures and technology advancements, facilitating smooth operations across platforms.

Qualifications:

• 5+ overall experience in media and advertising.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in digital tag management or a similar role.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital marketing/advertising.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital ad operations, media and site tagging, marketing analytics, and digital campaign performance measurement.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, JIRA, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, Ad Servers, Demand Side Platforms (DSP), and Tag Management Platforms.
• Demonstrable understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and paid media measurement methodologies.
• Expertise in tag deployment, data collection methodologies, and media operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to improving campaign performance.
