Shift: 1st Shift
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays  

Dispatcher Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and quotes
• Manage schedules and routes to ensure daily deliveries are met
• Quote customer on local pickup and delivery rates
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and agents
• Schedule appointments
• Assist drivers as needed with daily issues
• Monitor road conditions
• Coordinate freight transfers and recoveries
• Maintain proper records
• Assist with deliver prep as needed in warehouse
• More duties as assigned

Dispatcher Experience:

• 2-3 years of dispatching experience
• Experience with freight tracking systems preferred
• Ability to multi task, problem solve, and great attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Suite
• Drug screen and TSA background check required
