Foreman - Surface Mining

My Client is a large-scale earth moving company. They work all over the Southeast in mining operation s, golf course building and maintenance, as well as complete site development. They are seeking a Full-Time foreman for our surface mining operations with a long-term career opportunity in mind.

This candidate needs to have experience in supervision of earthworks or overburden removal

Production based earthmoving is what they are trying to source

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of site employees, including safety, work schedules and project progress
Knowledgeable of MSHA guidelines and perform safety meetings and workplace exams
Implement management techniques that drive safety, cost-effectiveness, and production efficiencies
Collaborate with supervisors and clients to safely meet budgeted production timeline
Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as required
Make changes in the daily operation as necessary to meet construction deadlines safely
Manage site equipment preventive maintenance program

Experience:

* Prefer 5 years surface mining experience
* 2 years supervisory experience

Pay: Based on experience
