Job Description

The Healthcare Reporting Analyst I produces, gathers, and analyzes medical data, identifying trends and insights leading to improved treatment and patient outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Gathers and integrates health-related data from various sources
  • Analyzes and interprets data to discover trends and patterns that assist in delivering optimal health care management and decision making
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from various sources
  • Creates and presents reports, findings, and recommendations based on predefined metrics or key performance indicators
  • Works closely with data analyst to ensure data integrity
  • Supports grant management by providing required grant reporting for federal, state, local, and other funders
  • Assists leadership in creating standard reporting across operational departments
  • Ensures compliance and confidentiality of all data and reports
Required Qualifications:
  • Expertise in reporting and data analysis in healthcare is required
  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of data management applications
  • Proficiency managing electronic medical records
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to think through complex processes and relationships and analyze reports for trends and accuracy.
  • High degree of accuracy, efficiency, organization, thoroughness and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education/Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Technology or other relevant field from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience in the health care reporting, health and/or medical services field is required.
