Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager position with a client located in Grand Rapids MI. Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field to be considered for this position. You will be responsible for the oversight of the facility, equipment, and the team responsible for maintaining both. You will also develop and oversee a preventative maintenance program.

Pay/Salary Range $105k-135k.

Maintenance Engineering Manager Job Responsibilities Include

• Oversees the asset management team in carrying out predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of the plant equipment, ensuring that power is generated.
• Scheduling maintenance tasks, supervising Maintenance Workers and responding to maintenance emergencies.
• Management of budgets and approval of expenses
• Forecasting, ordering, and price negotiation of spare parts inventory.
• Establishing safety procedures.
• Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition; Implement workplace safety policies and standards.
• Managing process improvements; Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum Six years related experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance.
• Experience with process improvement.
• Experience resolving issues with complex machinery, while maintaining safety as a top priority
• Working knowledge of facility systems and security
• Developed skills with mentorship, training and leadership in a manufacturing setting
