Position Overview:

Recess Pediatric Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. This home health position involves conducting evaluations and treatment sessions in the childs home. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the occupational therapy needs of pediatric clients in their home environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and the unique needs of each child.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services including interventions to enhance motor skills sensory processing selfcare skills and feeding abilities all in the childs home.
• Collaborate with families caregivers and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document progress towards therapy goals adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support the childs development at home.
• Participate in team meetings case conferences and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of State.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or home setting.
• Knowledge of sensory integration motor development and other relevant pediatric therapy techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with children families and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
• Experience working with feeding and swallowing disorders is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
