Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and following departmental procedures, the pharmacy intern assists the pharmacists in all aspects of patient care. Duties include the processing physician medication orders for infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring medications are promptly, accurately, and safely delivered, charged for, and credited. Prepares various drugs and IV solutions for delivery to patients, and properly labels pharmaceutical orders. Maintains records related to drug use and charges.

Required Qualifications:
Enrolled in or a graduate of school of pharmacy.
upon hire: California Pharmacist Intern License. Or
upon hire: California Pharmacist Registered.
Experience working with computers.
Computer data entry experience.
