Physical Therapist (Travel/Local Contract PT) Outpatient Ortho Sports job at Critical Connection, Inc. Washington DC, US

Job Description

A Travel Physical Therapist or Local Travel Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for our Large Physican Owned Outpatient Orthopedic Sports Medicine Practice in Washington, DC . All patients are scheduled on a 1:1 basis. We have a staff of 12 Physical Therapists, 4 PTAs and we utilize the assistance of techs. We treat an Active and general orthopedic patient population.

Travel Take Home: $2000-$2250 net (after tax take home) per week.
Local Travel Rates: $55-$60 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed, first-day health benefits.
Benefits: First Day Health/Dental/Vision Benefits.
Con Ed Package: $1200 Con Ed Per year
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
Treatment Model: 1:1 Treatments, 60 min eval, 30 min follow-up treatments. 50 -55 patient visits per week.
Support Staff: Fully staffed front desk and 1:2 PT Tech to PT ratio.
Work closely with the doctors, have access to images and notes, and attend weekly lunch meetings (paid) with the doctors to discuss patients' updates/concerns. These meetings are not mandatory.

Requirements for the Travel Physical Therapist (PT):

Masters and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited physical therapy (PT) program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association
State licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
At least 1 year of outpatient ortho experience. We will consider New Grads Travel Physical Therapist with 1 clinical in Outpatient.
