Pacific Rail Services is hiring Immediately for this Entry Level position as a Rail Terminal Operator working at the CSX Worcester, MA Rail Terminal. This is an permanent position in a recession proof industry with the TCU Union. We'll teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful on the job. 

You will be employed directly through Pacific Rail Services and will not be an employee of the railroad. 

What You'll Do:

• This role combines the responsibilities of a Hostler Driver and Ground Person. You will learn to operate a jockey truck, maneuvering 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
• Engage in various ground duties, including climbing on and off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBC's).
• Assist crane operators with equipment loading and unloading using hand signals.
• Play a key role in stacking and unstacking chassis, as well as loading and unloading chassis racks.
• Fulfill other assigned duties in a dynamic and team-oriented work environment.

Starting Rate is $20

Make $55k-$75k in your 1st year with overtime included!

Hiring for multiple shifts (Typically, employees work 12 hr shifts)

Applicants for this role must meet the general requirements for employment with the company, according to the Company hiring process which include:

• Must be 18 to apply & have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass a 7 background check. Any felonies in the last 7 years or jail time in the last 5 years could disqualify applicants.
• Must be able to pass a drug test & a Physical Capabilities Test.
• (No GED or diploma required)

This job would be suitable for someone with experience as a general laborer, driver, delivery driver, truck driver, non cdl driver, ground person, groundman, operator, crane, forklift, or someone working in a warehouse or railyard.
