Regional Sales Director
Location: Remote (California or Seattle, Washington)
Travel Required: Frequent travel within and between California and Washington
About the Position:
As the Regional Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our sales efforts in both Small and Medium-sized Clients (SMCs) and Enterprise markets. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing innovative sales strategies that drive team success and achieve revenue goals. We're looking for a passionate leader with exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills who understands the unique challenges faced by SMCs and Enterprise clients in today's market.
In this role, you will manage a dynamic team of sales professionals, supporting their growth and guiding the development of effective sales strategies. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with field sellers, sales engineers, channel account executives, and business development representatives.
We are seeking a hands-on leader who is excited to drive pipeline growth, maximize profits, expand our customer base, and explore new market opportunities, all while fostering a culture of success that aligns with our strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop targeted plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals for both SMC and Enterprise segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients across the U.S.
Lead the execution of strategic and tactical plans to drive growth in assigned regions.
Implement and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
Provide guidance to your team and hold them accountable for achieving growth targets.
Identify and allocate resources necessary for optimal team performance.
Recruit and nurture talent, fostering ongoing professional development.
Oversee sales analytics, reporting, and detailed sales forecasts for your territory.
Monitor team performance metrics and establish regular review cadences.
Define and manage sales compensation and incentive programs.
Cultivate strategic partnerships and channels to enhance our offerings.
Influence internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and systems.
Ensure departmental budgets align with organizational targets.
Continuously enhance tools, technologies, and processes for better efficiency.
Contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Stay informed about customer, market, and competitor activity and share insights.
Collaborate with the marketing team to establish effective programs.
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
Travel to meet with customers and partners as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in SMC and Enterprise sales segments, with a successful track record in leading sales teams.
Ability to develop and articulate effective program execution strategies.
Demonstrated success in achieving sustainable sales results.
Experience in channel partner programs and direct sales, with a history of meeting revenue targets.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure and the cybersecurity industry.
Extensive understanding of the U.S. cyber market.
A successful background in team building and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently and proactively address work needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Significant sales and management experience in the U.S. market.
At least 5 years of account management experience with a focus on pipeline growth and expansion.
Experience selling cybersecurity solutions, preferably in Managed Security Services.
5+ years of professional management experience.
Background in B2B channel-based cybersecurity sales.
Familiarity with both field and inside sales organizations.
Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage sales tasks, pipelines, and closing data.
Experience with sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC, MEDDPICC).
