Remote UX Designer needs 2 years of content design experience in a professional setting
Remote UX Designer requires:
2 years of content design experience in a professional setting (required).
Minimum of 3 years of mobile-first product design experience in a professional setting (required).
Online portfolio of case studies detailing your professional journey and UX process including initial concepting, user research, prototyping, low to high fidelity designs, and the insights that accompany where you succeeded, failed, and learned.
Translate business goals into functional designs that meet objectives and possess a demonstrated ability to work closely with cross functional teams, partners, and business stakeholders.
Pro using Figma. Experience with Adobe CC, Zeplin, UI toolkits, and Miro a plus.
Strong knowledge of best practices for Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and Accessibility/American Disabilities Act (ADA).
Up to date on the latest UX trends to help apply them to new features and educate colleagues. You have experience with usability testing and analyzing user feedback/behavior to improve product growth.

Remote UX Designer duties:
Evolve and elevate the language, messaging and content of our applications and establish a strategy to better humanize user experiences through microcopy.
Advocate for plain language in our products and help to educate its purpose and value to cross-functional teams.
Design simple yet elegant experiences across the current product suite (hardware and software) including high, medium, and low fidelity visual assets and interactions with feedback from stakeholders and technology partners.
Go above and beyond the job description because you are curious, willing, and exude a can-do attitude and enthusiasm.
Participate in recurring touch points with cross functional teams to uphold project transparency and progress regarding deadlines and deliverables.
Collaborate with the team scrum master and product managers to write stories/requirements to supplement high-fidelity designs or prototypes for sprint features.
Work closely with engineering on assets to support the product development lifecycle.
Brainstorm and ideate with teammates to enhance and evolve our current technologies and help define roadmaps for future experiences.
Confidently support, explain, and rationalize your design decisions to teammates and stakeholders equally.
Help cross-functional teams better envision feature and flow experiences, and support updates to improve usability.
Apply design thinking and user-centered research data when crafting experiences across products.
Collaborate closely with our UX research team to understand user needs, assist in creating engaging prototypes for usability testing, and support research projects as needed.
Work with Marketing & Brand teams to ensure new designs are meeting creative guidelines.
Share creative inspirations/influences with colleagues and are comfortable providing/receiving constructive feedback.
Perform competitive analysis and market research to help grow the product suite.
