Position Summary: The SFBU Student Assistant, who reports to the Chair of Business, will provide administrative support and project support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct desktop research on various topics, reviewing materials, and summarize results.
Perform data entry into spreadsheets.
Create reports, checklists, training material, and slides.
Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience using internet search tools and social media platforms to gather data.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Mail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and completed at least one term as a student at SFBU.
Excellent public speaking, organization, time management, teamwork, and written communication skills.
Must possess a high level of professionalism, ability to follow procedures, and strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, both independently and collaboratively.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Preference will be provided for those with an existing graduate degree and professional experience in a related field of business.
