Performance Test Engineer

We have an immediate need for a Performance Test Engineer to join a manufacturing company for a 6 8-week contract that is 100% remote. This ideal candidate will have experience running and reporting on performance test scripts with Selenium and JMeter.

Location: Remote, Central Time Zone business hours

This job expects to pay about $50-60/hr plus benefits

What You Will Do:

• Develop, script, and execute performance tests using tools like Selenium and JMeter.
• Set up and configure testing tools and environments to ensure efficient and effective test execution.
• Analyze and report performance metrics, identifying potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the QA and development teams to ensure seamless integration of performance testing within our testing processes.

What Gets You The Job:

• Proven experience in performance testing with a focus on eCommerce or web applications.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as Selenium and JMeter, with the ability to adapt to similar tools as needed.
• Strong scripting skills to automate performance test cases and execute them at scale.
• Ability to interpret performance data and communicate observations and recommendations effectively.
