Job Posting: Trust and Estate Attorney (5+ years experience)

Location: Kansas City, MO

Firm: Boutique firm specializing in estate planning and business matters

Experience: At least five years of experience as an Illinois estate planning attorney

Qualifications:

* Licensed in Missouri. (Kansas is a plus)
* Strong background in gift and estate tax planning
* Expertise in trust and estate administration
* Desire to build a practice in estate planning, family office services, and tax matters
* Accounting or financial background and/or LLM in taxation preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities:

* Provide family office services
* Draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorneys
* Conduct gift and estate tax planning
* Manage trust and estate administration
* Assist in investment entity formation and draft governance documents
* Handle real estate closings
* Ensure tax compliance
* Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and professionals
