Description

This is a hybrid position out of the Boston MA office working 2 days in office and 3 days from home.

As a member of the Global Brand & Communications (GB&C) organization, you will lead the Video and Event Production team within Enterprise Creative.

Oversees live event and video communications to create positive, impactful contributions to business goals. Partners with GB&C and SBU stakeholders and senior management to leverage video content and live events to achieve strategic goals. Develops best practices and uses the latest technology to achieve industry leading ROI for meetings/events, partnering closely with Meeting Management & Event Strategy and others to maximize audience engagement. Oversees all aspects of technical operation, management, and budget of state-of-the-art in-house video production studio.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, champions, and facilitates live event communication best practices across the business to create a brand experience that deepens engagement and motivates audiences to act on business objectives.
  • Manages Video & Event Production team and is responsible for the selection and management of a significant number of vendors, freelance producers, editors, outside agencies and resources engaged in creative production.
  • Oversees production of innovative and creative internal/external video communications for global employee communications, marketing, sales support, company meetings and events, and public facing initiatives.
  • Plans, manages, and directs creative content and technical support for all company live events and meetings including show direction, rehearsals, digital content creation, video production, selection and management of production and staging companies, media staff, photographers, videographers, freelance personnel, and management of local crews.
  • Oversees Outside Services budget. Evaluates requests for video communications productions, determines budget, and allocates and tracks resources. Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to plan, manage, and report on event production budget and variances.
  • Develops, mentors, and oversees staff to plan and effectively execute production, across media.
  • Responsible for the management and technical operations of our state-of-the-art in-house video production studio including strategic direction, efficiency, production scheduling and maintenance. Recommends technical direction of the facility as well as department procedures.
  • As program producer, develops treatments and creative execution including the production of opening and closing segments using various technologies as well as identifying and integrating outside entertainment, theatrical, and musical acts.
  • Uses industry knowledge to bring value to LMI by leveraging and applying negotiation skills to obtain meaningful cost savings.
  • Leads projects that involve much ambiguity, risk, experimentation, and critical analysis. Creates strategies, approaches, and solutions that are inventive, high value, and refined.
  • Evaluates, analyzes metrics, and provides feedback to improve existing strategies, technologies, and processes.
Qualifications
  • Must be a proven leader with experience leading a team and managing vendors and freelancers both live and remote
  • Expert knowledge of production and media equipment and technology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required to effectively determine and interpret stakeholder needs with the ability to communicate creative ideas to people with varying backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and track numerous projects and programs
  • Must have strong negotiation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Competencies typically acquired through bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications or a related field) or equivalent experience;Advanced degree preferred
  • 10 or more years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of successfully leading, developing, and engaging a high performing team
